Are they streaming somewhere now? I watched a lot of them as they aired in the mid-00’s. Then jumped the shark for me when they started testing sayings and parables and t hen the episodes turned into essentially explosion and destruction porn.

They’ve had a marathon on Science channel since like last Saturday. And tv has sucked all week. They make good background noise.

I don’t have TV service anymore and the only time I really watch it is when I travel and am stuck in a hotel.  TV sucks now and I’m glad I no longer pay for it...

No idea. Somehow I n ever really made a point of tuning in when the episodes first aired. B ut whenever I found myself channel surfing, I would almost always stop at Mythbusters. I’ve probably seen most of them, but the only way to b e sure is to just start watching them all over again.

Way too many. I have been watching the marathon basically all week.

I pay for a streaming service with virtual DVR, but only watch a handful of programs even though I have probably thousands of hours at my disposal. At least it’s only $16/mo so I don’t feel like I'm getting raked over the coals like I did with cable.

Got my boys hooked on them two days ago and this is all they ask to watch now.  I'm doing something right.

Dunno, l ost c ount. I’ve been sick since pretty much the marathon started, so I’ve been working from home the whole week, and had it on in the background. I’m annoyed that they’ve been airing them out of order, and I'm sick AF of the same idiot commercials over and over again. Still, this is fun getting to see eps I don't think I've seen for a while.

They’re on the Science channel app, but I don't know if that'll work without a cable subscription.

I started working through them all maybe five or seven years ago, don’t think I made it super far. Eventually they ran out of shit to test but kept putting out new episodes anyhow. While I’m sure it’s been great motivation for some people to get interested in science and engineering, eventually you also kinda realize that their conclusions are flawed because they’ve ignored too many variables, or even introduced more with poorly implemented testing rigs. Also what others have said about wanton destruction for the sake of destruction .

It was cool when I was a kid, and I still very much respect Adam Savage and Grant Imahara, as well as the rest of the crew, for their enthusiasm in getting people interested in science and DIY. But I just can’t really watch the show any more.
